is there anything that can be done about the flooring of the childrens playground? i dont think bark is working out and doesnt seem to last long especially in our climate! i realise it is the cheapest form to use but maybe we could price up how much the cost is for the rubber?sponge ? flooring that is now used in many other modern playgrounds, and try to find a way for the residents to raise the funds. im sure im not the only parent on this estate who thinks its time it was sorted! x

When we moved her the play area was covered in lush green grass.
Then, when the ground was really wet some of the kids decided to play football on it wearing football studs and in the course of a day or two the grass was just mud.
Kids causing annoyance by playing football was an issue at the time and it was decided that playbark was the best solution.
I would guess though that the rubber surfaces are financially out of the residents associations reach.
